The Annual General Body Meeti ng 2014 and family get together was held on25th May, 2014 at Institution of Engineers (India), Thiruvananthapuram. The meeti ng started with an invocation by Master Navin son of Smt. Jayanti , member ISSE, followed by cultural programmes. Both the members and their wards participated in the cultural programmes. Variety of programs like solo dance, group dance, western dance, light music, group music,etc were performed both by members and their children.
Cultural program was followed by a magic show performed by a 7th standard student of Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Trivandrum.Dr. S Dasgupta, President welcomed the gathering and Smt. D S Sheela, Secretary, ISSE presented the Annual Report for 2013-14. She highlighted the acti viti es of ISSE during the period and presented a brief account of EXCEL 2013–a National Workshop on ‘Achieving Excellence through Lessons from Successes and Failures )’ during 6th & 7th September, 2013.Dr. PP Mohan Lal, our life member who became the Directorof ISRO Inerti al Systems Unit (IISU) was felicitated in the function.
Dr. D Mohankumar, Treasurer, ISSE presented the audited accounts of ISSE for the year 2013-14. He highlighted the expenses incurred towards Excel 2013, AGBM and other expenses.
